Class 10 exams are student’s first taste of this competitive world. In the state of Uttar Pradesh alone, around 30 Lakh students appear for Class 10 exams. As per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), 18.77 lakh students appeared for exam in 2020, out of which 1 lakh students failed. In this article, Ishaan Gupta will tell you about the best examination strategy to get 100% marks in all subjects.
1.
Maths- We all are told that Maths is
the most difficult subject. Honestly speaking, I got 97 out of 100 in Maths in
the session 2015-16. For Maths, you need to focus on the chapters of Trigonometry.
We highly recommend you neither to entirely depend you on NCERT nor to solve
high level books like RD Sharma. In a research study done by Kanpur Wallah in
11 cities across India, we found that RS
Aggarwal is the best recommended book by 70% teachers. There are just 5-6
theorems, out of which 1 theorem comes every year from the circle chapter. In
quadratic equation, please do high level questions of splitting mid-term and
also study factorization by completing the square method.
2.
Science- There are only 15 chapters – 5 from
each subpart (PCB). Biology is the most difficult section. In biology, majority
of the questions are asked from environment and heredity chapter, which
according to me are the easiest chapter. In Physics, give preference to theory
over numerical because 90% of the paper comprises of theory. Only 1 numerical
related to equivalent resistance and/or 1 numerical from refraction comes every
year. In chemistry, learn all equations given in NCERT. There are only 20
equations, which can be learnt in a day or two. In science, please study only
NCERT otherwise you might get confused with the syllabus.
3.
Social
Science-
Humanities subjects like History, Political Science, Geography and Economics comprise
this subject, considered most lengthy by many students. For map work, there are
specific places given in the latest syllabus, you need to prepare only those.
In case of a doubt, you can ask in comments section or in CONTACT US page at
the top. You should study only from NCERT but if you want to get 100% marks,
please refer to books like ARIHANT, ALL IN ONE and RATNA SAGAR. In Civics or
Political Science, even if you write answers which are not given in the books,
you will be given full credit. So if you are good in General Knowledge, getting
full marks will not be a difficult task for you.
4.
English- The exam is divided into two
parts. In Part-A, only Multiple Choice Questions are there. Focus on Grammar
topics like Modals, Tense and Determiners to get good marks in Section-A. For
the Part-B of paper, you need to give emphasis on literature because 75% of it
is literature. Poems constitute a little less than 20% so do not focus on them.
Since you have a lot of choices in almost every question, getting full marks in
English is also not difficult.
5.
2nd
Language- In
most schools, Hindi is available as the subject but some schools provide Tamil,
Telugu, French etc. also. I opted French and got 100% first time in the history
of CBSE, that’s why my name is also registered in Limica Book of World Records –
2016-17. For Hindi, I can tell more in the comment box or if you privately
message me.
6.
Computer- I regret to inform you that as
per CBSE guidelines, marks of IT_402 and CA_165 are no more included in the
grand total. So, don’t study for this at all. You will get 50% marks which are
internals, do not waste time. Instead focus on Maths.
I
welcome your doubts in the comment section. I have CBSE papers of last 50 years. In case, you need them please let me or Ishaan Gupta know.
